Olivia has long been a trusted expert on communications policy during her years of public service in Congress and I couldn’t think of a better, more qualified person to fill the role. She brings vast industry knowledge and a keen understanding of rural and competitive broadband issues which will no doubt allow her to hit the ground running on day one. Deb Fischer (R-NE) and Sen. Ben Ray Luján (D-NM), Chair and Ranking Member of the Senate Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Telecommunications and Media, and in the House by Rep. Richard Hudson (R-NC-09) and Rep. Doris Matsui (D-CA-07), Chair and Ranking Member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Communications and Technology.
