Boloro Joins Competitive Carriers Association to bring Boloro Authentication to CCA Members

Aug 30, 2021
Washington, DC – Boloro Global Limited, a New York City-based technology company known for its unique multi-factor and multi-channel authentication solutions, has joined Competitive Carriers Association (CCA) and is working to bring Boloro’s patented, GSMA-approved process to CCA members and their customers.

“At a time when cyberattacks and fraud are becoming more and more common, Boloro Authentication is emerging as the best way to put real security into the hands of users,” according to Karl P. Kilb III, CEO of Boloro. “Cyberattacks take advantage of the inherent vulnerabilities of the Internet as a public network that represents a single point of failure,” Kilb said. “Boloro Authentication avoids the Internet and the Operating System, layering on top of applications by leveraging the secure signaling channel of the mobile operator network, the same channel that the Amber Emergency Alerts are on.”

Boloro Authentication is easily deployed via APIs, can be locally hosted or cloud-based, and is compatible with all mobile handsets, including smartphones and feature phones. Users simply respond to a flash message over the secure signaling channel with the applicable PIN or password, providing identity verification and activity validation that is secure, instantaneous, and user friendly.

“I’m delighted to welcome Boloro as a new CCA member,” said CCA President & CEO Steven K. Berry. “Providing CCA members with effective solutions is fundamental to CCA’s Industry Development Programs, and we are happy to be working with Boloro to bring new cybersecurity options and business opportunities to our membership.”
