MCS takes place April 16-18 at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort and Spa in Palm Springs.

In opening remarks, CCA’s CEO and President Tim Donovan commented, “We are busy tracking competitive policy issues – especially access to spectrum, ‘rip and replace, and the 5G Fund – in Washington and our ultimate aim is to ensure carriers have all the tools available to connect Americans across the country, including 5G and fixed wireless.”

Addressing spectrum, Donovan said, “It is a top issue for CCA members, and we continue to work with Congress to ensure our members have the spectrum resources they need and to find a long-term solution. We have accomplished a lot together, and I am confident our hard work will produce more positive results in Washington.”

In her keynote address FCC Commissioner Anna Gomez shared her thoughts on policy, innovation, and commitment to ensuring the United States has a strong competitive telecommunications marketplace that not only promotes economic prosperity and security but also meets the needs of all consumers.

“Thank you to FCC Commissioner Anna Gomez and our keynoters for sharing their insight and perspective on issues impacting mobile carriers,” said Tim Donovan. "MCS is the ideal venue for having meaningful discussions on policy issues and other key topics for competitive carriers including technology advancements in AI, 5G, private networks, spectrum, and unlocking new opportunities for innovation.”
