“I completely agree with Chairwoman Rosenworcel that further funds from Congress are needed to fully support the removal of untrusted equipment. The funding shortfall has left affected carriers unable to fully replace covered equipment with secure alternatives, putting millions of consumers at risk of losing critical wireless services while leaving a security mandate unmet. I thank the Chairwoman for her comments on this important issue and look forward to continued work with Congress to ensure the program is fully funded as swiftly as possible.”
